ABOUT DREAM, SAVE, DO INITIATIVE
Sesame Workshop in India launches “Sapna, Bachat, Udaan: Arthik Bal Har Parivar Ka Haq”, sponsored by MetLife Foundation, to promote financial empowerment among families with young children in the age group of 3-8 years. Targeting families and children through transmedia experiences, the educational content is intended to improve knowledge, language and strategies on financial literacy and increase the dialogue between parents and children to help them make informed choices around spending, saving and sharing to help them realize their financial and non-financial goals.
ABOUT SESAME WORKSHOP in INDIA
Sesame Workshop in India, spearheads Galli Galli Sim Sim, a multi-platform initiative that aims to facilitate young Indian children's basic academic and life skills, to prepare them for school and for life. Over 100 million children have watched Galli Galli Sim Sim, the television series, since its debut in 2006 and its educational messages are extended through innovative community engagement programs, radio and new emerging media. Sesame Workshop in India has recently ventured into the preschool space by launching Sesame Street Preschools to provide high quality 21st century learning to children in India.
